Efficiency Improvement and Cost Savings Project thru my independent consulting company.

oGiven one week to assess and develop what I considered should be the key focus. The following areas were determined to be the major pinch points in the process flow

oQuality Control was too time prohibitive

oDue to Growth the Lab did not have flow migration

oThorough Training Cross Training and pay structures were hap-hazard at best

oCalibration and Repair Call to Arrival to Completion times was sporadically long. Working with IT developed new priority software that insured immediate resolve in case of “system down” situation

oSet Up Internal certified equipment calibration technicians. This enabled us to maintain peek quality within day-to-day operations.

Per our outside sales force, they estimate that it increased sales by approx. 15%.

ROI on the $1.8 Million Capital Investment was approx. 5 months, in that the Calibration/Repair service was marketed and sold to our competitors as well.

A Heartland Pathology (Cont.)

Summary of the Project Above: Heartland Pathology now has the 2nd quickest turn-around times and is 1st in overall quality of all the Specimen Pathology Labs in and around Oklahoma City. Adding the Cost Savings with the Additional Revenue Stream created a conservative annual bottom line number more than $432,000. Efficiency Improvement alone, was over 28%

Heartland Pathology 2nd Project – Ground Up Manufacturing

Approximately 3 months after the project was completed, I was called back in to see if I would consider working on a special project. One of the Partners and a surgeon friend of hers had come up with an operating/surgery device that would save procedure and recovery time and could potentially save lives.

oAlthough my background was not in the Medical arena I was informed that I had been chosen due to:
