Design and Analysis of the Roll Cage of an ATV at Rizvi College of Engineering, Mumbai India

• Designed the roll cage of the ATV in accordance with SAE BAJA standards in SOLIDWORKS.

• Performed analytical calculations to determine the Impact forces and FEA analysis in ANSYS to study the Stress concentration and Total Deformation for Front Impact test, Rollover test, Side Impact test, Rear Impact test.

• During the static analysis, roll cage design was reviewed and design iterations were performed to obtain higher Factor of Safety (FOS) thereby ensuring the durability of Roll cage in most extreme conditions and making it safe for production.
