Summary

I am looking for a position that could turn into a career. I have four years of management experience, and I work well in a team atmosphere. I also work well with little or no supervision. I am able to perform great customer service even under the most stressful circumstances. I learn quickly and I enjoy new and challenging tasks. I have a high work ethic, positive attitude, and I am able to multitask. I can be relied on to be fair to my colleagues and counted on to be punctual and present every day.

Experience

March 2016 – October 2018 Holsum Bakery Inc. Accounting Generalist, Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities include working closely with the Controller in any task that they needed. Daily Balancing thrift store deposits to the bank accounts and General Ledger account. Researching other G/L accounts to balance and if there are any problems I find the reason and correct it. I have continued my training in account payable department and helped reconcile every month to the general ledgers. I also process period and quarterly audits. I have trained in counting inventories, also in performing quarterly temp labor audit review. Post Journal vouchers daily and at the end of the week making sure that the Journal vouchers have correct documentation. I have also trained to process MRP. This is the system that allows the plant to create enough product for the demands. I also balance the distributors period shrink charges. I work closely with the company’s distributors with any issue that might arise. With my position at with the company, I had to work closely with other departments and help them where ever I could. I also processed daily Purchase orders, making sure that they were sent to the proper departments and paid on time. I entered approved pricing into the system for the products that were offered. I was training in distributor accounting. I was completing all the required duties and tasks to become an assistant controller. Within my time here I crossed train into four different areas and proficient with SAP.

March 2008 - December 2015 Cyprus Federal Credit Union, Accounting Operations West Jordan, UT

Responsibilities include giving great customer service on a daily basis, researching accounts to solve any problems, processing ACH and check operations, fraud training, balancing general ledgers, working with customers to resolve issues concerning their accounts and ordering cash for the entire credit union. I was trained in the account payable department and helped reconcile every month to the general ledgers. I also had the opportunity to help create the mobile deposit program which included creating procedures for the acceptance, processing and balancing of the new service. Before going into the Accounting Department I was a branch supervisor. I was proficient in opening and closing the branch, performing overrides, cash handling, opening new accounts, loading loan applications and approving and closing the loans. I also completed all the training required to move into a management position. Cyprus Federal Credit Union offered an internal training school which included Associate and Bachelor degrees. I hold a bachelor degree at Cyprus.

Job knowledge, along with my ability to be relied on, gave me the opportunity to work closely with the Project Manager after six months of employment. Responsibilities included working with the public, providing great customer service, ability to answer multiple phone calls with an upbeat attitude and transfer to the correct person. To help the Project Managers, I gathered the materials for the minute reports and combined them into multiple books. I also trained within the company in multiple areas to help when needed. I was trusted to work in the front office with little supervision.

Responsibilities include working with the public and providing great customer service. Helping members complete their account needs. The tools that I learned from my previous job helped me to move up within the Credit Union. I started cross-training into other areas of the Credit Union. I learned call center skills, loan skills, and traveled to other branches when needed. Within a few months I was considered for a job as a loan officer. I was trusted to work with very little supervision and maintain that my teller drawer was balanced.

I worked closely with the Branch Manager to gain the knowledge to become an Assistant Manager.
