I am in charge of our fleet of electric and gas powered vehicles, which includes preventative maintenance and replacement of all batteries, troubleshooting and repairs of all vehicles (within reason), as well as the upkeep and minor repairs of our two forklifts and one scissor lift. Replace ceiling lights; repair or replace towel racks, coat hooks, drawer pulls, closet hardware, etc. Replace filters on air-handling units, general cleaning and upkeep of mechanical equipment and boiler rooms, reset circuit breakers and replace damaged or non working outlets, do minor and major repairs and/or replacement of equipment such as VFD’s, electrical motors, circulating pumps, air handlers and economizers, condenser/evaporator coils, and chillers cooling towers and more. Work in the Co-Gen plant standing watch, trouble shooting and doing readings.

Summer Engineer, Jun 2009 – Sep 2009

Repaired desk lamps, replaced ceiling lights and cleaned diffusers, repaired or replaced towel racks, mirrors, coat hooks, drawer pulls, closet hardware, etc. Repaired or replaced drapery hardware, cleaned sink drain traps, did preventative maintenance on door closers, window hinges and handles (i.e. clean and lube), changed filters on air-handling units, did general cleaning of mechanical equipment and boiler rooms, reset circuit breakers, perform electrical repairs, other duties such as setting scaffolding and hanging sheet rock and paneling, as assigned by supervisor. This was a temporary summer position.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Started as a teenager fixing, overhauling and maintaining automobiles for myself, friends and family and I have continued this over the years years and have thus become a skilled auto mechanic.
