IT Manager

Managerial responsibilities-

Responsible for the development, performance, and security of a five site, 300 user corporate network and a hosted 5 server virtual network.

Responsible for the overall level of user satisfaction with the IT function throughout the firm; am first line of contact for Managing Directors.

Supervise and mentor a Systems Administrator responsible for providing network management and help desk services.

Responsible for all IT-related expenditures and approve all payments.

Key member of HIPAA and Business Continuity committees; help develop and maintain security documentation and complete security questionnaires required by potential clients.

Responsible for IT procurement and vendor management; manage license purchases and compliance with licensing agreements.

Administer companywide AT&T iPhone plan.

Manage cloud-based ShoreTel Sky phone system.

Was member of committee charged with implementing Microsoft CRM 4.0 in 2011 (later migrated to Dynamics CRM Online).

Was responsible for representing The Claro Group in all IT-related matters relating to the spinoff of its healthcare practice (now known as Claro Healthcare); split became effective 8/1/17.

Responsible for the IT aspect of office moves including voice and data circuit provisioning, server room design, and equipment breakdown and reassembly.

Technical achievements-

Built the IT infrastructure from 4 servers in 2 sites in 2005 to 18 in 5 sites in 2016.

Upgraded Windows domain controllers to current OS Version twice (Windows Server 2003 to 2008 R2 to 2016).

Performed several email migrations (Exchange 2003 to 2007 and 2007 to Exchange Online for The Claro Group; also migrated healthcare mailboxes from Exchange 2007 to 2013 and assisted in migration to Exchange Online as part of practice spinoff).

Developed on premises infrastructure (4 Microsoft ADFS federation servers and Azure AD Connect directory synchronization) necessary for integration with Microsoft cloud (Exchange Online, Azure, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online)

Virtualized two tier insurance claim allocation system proprietary application using Microsoft Hyper-V.

Deployed Veritas (formerly Symantec) Enterprise Vault for email and file server archiving.

Summary of Assignments:

Served as an in-house Bench Manager responsible for assigning projects, monitoring office attendance, and weekly reporting to management of all available consultant resources while unassigned.

Designed, built and managed Year 2000 test lab for Tribune Information Services (subsidiary of Tribune Company, Chicago, IL). Created test plan and test case boilerplate documents, aided users in preparing test plans and cases for in-house and shrink-wrapped applications, maintained lab schedule, and signed off on completed test documentation.
