I joined snap to develop my knowledge and understanding of the print and design world and begin my transition between careers. During this period I increased turnover by 53% and brought in some of the companies biggest customers from a wide spectrum of industries. I learned a vast amount of industry knowledge and gained a wealth of knowledge in digital and large format printing as well as an in depth knowledge of finishes and stocks. I project managed and handle design briefs from inception through to completion for Blue chip clients such as GE Capital, Workday, Jameson and multiple international legal firms. While at Stylo I gained a wealth of experience in Motion Design. I worked with companies such as RTE, Wide Eye Media and had my work exhibited as part of the Saint Patrick’s Day finale celebrations, working in conjunction with street artist Maser. Also in my time at Stylo I completed a School of Motion boot camp course and am looking forward to starting their Cinema4D course in October. Stylo was an excellent environment for me to further my skills and broaden my design knowledge and I am looking forward to my next challenge.

During this time Cubic Telecom was very much in a start-up phase. My role was to bring in new retailers to our global connectivity package. Prospecting and meeting with retailing giants such as Walmart and Sears in the US and Canada and account managed Woolworths the companies largest customer in Australia.

Investigated the potential of starting my own business in Dublin’s City Centre. During this time I raised capital for the business and completed, Business and Financial planning, Market research and worked with Enterprise Ireland in their ‘Start your own Business’ module. I also worked within the industry during this period. After careful consideration I decided not to proceed with the venture.

Delivered monthly / half yearly reviews and sales analysis at board and management level, identifying potential growth areas for the business as well as being a key member in tendering for new contracts.
