•Initially hired as the Business Unit Manager for a turnaround effort of the TDI’s- DC commercial branch “start-up”. The BU went from heavy losses to breakeven in >2 years. Strategic decision closed in 2004. I was asked to stay and run the regional multifamily operation (a separate business unit).

Lead a $200M a business unit of a national roll up with 6 Specialty (MEPI) Contractors in VA, MD DC Markets.
Integrated the operations of (6) contractor with a total of 600 employees located in Maryland and Virginia.
Merger included acquired specialty contracting firms: Hungerford Mechanical, Atlantic Industrial, Walter C. Davis Electric, Tower Electric, Central Air and Commercial Air Power & Cable to form a roll-up regional business unit, Encompass Mid-Atlantic.
Executive VP of Operations - Com-Site International (Acquired by Encompass) [MEP-GC Specialty] 1988 - 1998
Profit and loss accountability for the operations of Com-site International (AKA Total Site Solutions) and its subsidiary Commercial Air Power & Cable. Lead the complete, all divisions of work, design-build firm.
Combination of businesses, $60M per year, high yield ROI; a national high-tech, design-build firm that included complete design, construction, service and life-cycle maintenance of Data Centers, Telecom and Colocation facilities. Included all divisions of work. Had a partnership with IBM on the east coast for all data centers.
The subsidiary specialty firm included electrical, voice-data and mechanical installations and service in the Washington Metro area as the Liebert and McQuay factory service agency.
