I was responsible for the day to day operations of the shelter, resale store and food pantry. Developed a good relationship between all service providers in Garland County and surrounding counties. Coordinated training for volunteers and Board of Directors. Engaged in public speaking events to open the awareness of abuse and the need for more funding. Developed a 24/7 local and National Domestic Violence Hotline and a local Domestic Violence support group. Provided case management for all clients, their families and others in need of assistance. Worked with shelter manager on a daily bases for the needs of the clients at the shelter. Coordinate a drug informational training class with The Hot Springs Drug Task force for any city or county employees along with other service providers in the county. Coordinated one of the must go events in Hot Springs “Chocolate and Champagne” fundraiser that was hosted at the Austin Hotel. This event alone rose over $10,000.00 with over 250 people in attendance.
