Was a head of production department of a facility in Oman (Sohar.), having production capacity of 1 million productive man hours/year. We generate revenue in range of $35 to 54 Million US.

Was instrumental in implementing 24 seams simultaneous SAW welding thereby reducing production and project time by 50%. Equipment size was 8 meter dia and 60 meters in length.

Smooth execution of various equipment such as reactor and heat exchangers having exotic MOC such as 21/4 Cr 1 Mo 0.25 V, SA 387 Gr 11 Cl2 etc, by carefully planning sequence of fabrication taking care of PWHT, ISR and LSR requirement.

Well versed with specialty equipment such as Carbamate condenser, Urea stripper, which involved MOC such as 25:22:2, Safurex etc.

Responsible for overall production planning of equipment in revenue range of US $20 million. These equipment were manufactured for global clientele from Europe, USA, China etc.

Pioneered standardizing production procedures and processes. Automated the procedure making process thereby improving office productivity by 25%.

Took lead in various cross departmental team to address issues and develop strategies for the problems.

Was a lead person of a team to relocate exclusive manufacturing facility, took lead in identifying facility for manufacturing, negotiated and drafted contract for exclusivity. Expected revenue from this facility was US $50 million per year

Monitored and drove the Shutdown work at Saudi Petrochemical Company. This adds up to more than 2 million man-hours of shutdown. Complied with safety norms and had zero reports of accident.

Streamlined and controlled work schedule for shutdown which involved 100-150 workmen.

Instituted new cost estimation and tracking module for shutdown. This helped in turnaround management to track the cost on day to day basis.

Remodeled the process of combining the shutdown work scope of different disciplines.

Topack Field Services, Loc: India May 97 to Aug 1998

Position: Site Engineer

Supervised, guided and controlled manpower in erection of column internals as per drawings, standard requirements and specific process requirement.

Efficiently managed site work at major refineries & petrochemical in India such as BPCL, HPCL (Vizag & Mumbai), Madras refinery, Kochin refinery, Garware chemicals, Nirma Ltd.etc.

Assumed overall responsibility to drive the emergency work, which constituted preparing estimates, and plan of action. This ensured effective utilization of time when plant was under shutdown.

Planned manufacturing of the safety fittings required in LPG utility plant and procured the material for the same.

Instrumental in introducing software system for procurement tracking and in bringing new clients to company.

Worked as trainee maintenance, this involved on the job training. Was the only trainee selected to supervise night shift activities during shutdown.

Was actively involved in handling of Run and Maintain activities in shifts.
