Current Projects, still in progress:

I am currently working in Houston, TX, doing volunteer work for flood victims and contracting with home owners to renovate their flooded homes, correcting framing, installing insulation and drywall and painting. I have purchased a home, renovated it, and have it up for sale.

I have been working as the General Field Superintendent for a Shoreline Construction Co. in Ventura, CA. Supervising the Steel Erection and Miscellaneous Steel on the following jobs:

Rennaisance Multi-Use Building in Venice Beach including a Golds Gym, A Chart House Restaurant, The Chaya Venice Restaurant, Several Retail Shops and Structural Steel Artwork above Garage Entry, Installation of the Balarina with a Clown Head above the buildings entry with parking for 600 cars, Apartments, for sale condominiums, and low cost housing for seniors. (25Million)

From 1992 thru 2004= I owned 50% of 10 Career training Schools in four largest cities in Texas with one of my Sons. We taught all the construction trades to unemployed and welfare recipients for 10 years.

1987 thru 1992= I was 50% owner and General Manager of American Reconstruction Development Co. in California. I managed and preformed Earthquake Retrofit and remodeling on 142 Unreinforced Brick Buildings in L.A. and San Francisco, California. (104 of these are 3 story apartment buildings; 34 were 4 Story Apartment buildings, and 6 were 6 story apartment buildings.

1986 thru 1988 I started and finished the largest Bond funded project in L.A.; a project combining 23 apartment buildings into a gated community for the city's low income families. This project was named "Park Parthenia" and is in Northridge, CA. We remodeled the units while the residents were still living in them.

1984 to 1986-I was a 25% Owner and General managing Partner of ALCOR Development Corp in California. A Construction Development Partnership of 4 persons, that Purchased raw land, preformed re-zoning, developed off-sites, and construction of homes, apartment complexes and commercial developments as follows:

560 single home complex in Temecula, CA. 320 homes were entry level houses, 1450 Sq. ft to 2250 Sq. ft., and 140 were 2,600 to 4,400 Sq. Ft. luxury homes, with golf course frontage.

90 Home Condominium complex in Temecula, CA., all with golf course frontage.

254 Single home complex in Lake Elsinore, CA., all were entry level homes on 1/2 acre lots, with Sq. Footage ranging from 1,400 to 2,400.

154 Unit Apartment Complex in Lake Elsinore, CA

250 unit Apartment Complex in Barstow, CA

Processed large Acreage land projects from Agricultural land to single family, commercial and apartment complexes:

540 acres at Railroad Canyon and Hiway 15, Lake Elsinore, CA. to be divided and sold to area builders.

1983 to 1986=Executive Vice President for Barclays of California Joint Venture department that put Barclays in partnership with Six Billion dollars of projects in California, Florida and Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. I oversaw and placed loans on all projects. Barclays was a 50% ownership partner in all projects, and provided loans for them. Projects consisted of single family homes and condominiums.

1979 to 1984= Project manager for the largest Construction Management Company in Texas. I personally handled loan work-outs for six(6) REIT Corps in Texas, Tennessee, Florida and Montreal, Canada. I Foreclosed on their projects and negotiated budgets for completion of 40 apartment complexes, Hotels and Condominium projects for those lenders. The apartment complexes ranged from 240 units to 600 units in each complex and were in Orlando, FL., surrounding the new Disney World Complex. Commercial projects included two 12 story Hotels, and a 22 story office building in Montreal, Canada.

I was project manager in charge of work outs for Trammel Crow (Lincoln Properties) on apartment complexes and commercial buildings in Dallas TX, Houston,TX, San Leandro, CA and St Louis, MO, and Tampa, Fl.; Approximately 3,000 Units of apartment buildings, a 12 story office building on Tampa Bay in Tampa, FL.

I left the Chrysler Corp. to be a Financial Controller for Utah Mining and Construction who put up financing to the bonding companies that put Geo. A Fuller(New York) and Haas & Haynie (San Francisco) in receivership. I was put in charge of completing work in process for both those General Contractors. Projects completed were as follows:

Complete remodel of The International Terminal at L.A.X; Remodeling Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco;

Completing construction on twin Tower Fairmont Hotel, Dallas;Remodeling the Roosevelt Hotel and converting it to a Fairmont Hotel, New Orleans

Construction of a General Electric Warehouse, Shreveport, La.

Construction of an Eastman Kodak Warehouse, Dallas

Construction of Railhead Restaurant in Dallas

Multiple executive office Remodels in office buildings for Braniff Airways, Continental Airways, Ling, Temco, Vought Aircraft, Halliburton industries (new regional Mall in Salt Lake, UT) & Revolving Tower Restaurant in San Antonio for the world Fair.

1976 to 1979I went to work for the Chrysler Corporation after College at University of Texas to work as an area investment manager and was in charge of setting up the accounting offices, inventory control for new parts distribution centers in Dallas, Kansas City, San Leandro, Buffalo, and Schenectady, N.Y.
