OBJECTIVE:

I am looking for a position of Sr./Lead Piping Design Engineer in a leading Oil and Gas, Power plant Industry where my knowledge can be shared and enriched. I am aspiring to use my skills in the best possible ways for the development, profitability and growth of the organization I am working for.

QUALIFICATION:

B.E Mechanical from RURAL ENGINEERING college of Engineering, Hulkoti-2009.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

9+ years of progressive experience in field of Oil&Gas, Power Plants Process Piping design (3D Modeling and detail engineering & drafting), facilities design for Construction and erection support.

Experience in site supervision (6months in IGCSR Nuclear plant Kalpakkam)

Presently working as Sr. Piping Engineer – in QuEST Global, Bangalore

International Design codes & Dimensional standard: ANSI, ASME, API, BS, ASTM, IS, DIN, ASTRAL, GF & their use in Design, Analysis and Calculation.

Basic knowledge in preparation of PFD & Piping & Instrument Diagram (P&ID) for Steam Turbo machine, Lube Oil system, cooling towers, Heat exchangers, Generator and Compressor system etc.

Knowledge of Pipe line sizing, Pipe Wall Thickness & Piping Pressure Drop Calculations.

Preparation of piping material specification (PMS).

Preparation of Plot Plan, Equipment Layout and Piping Layout.

Ability to develop multiple plant, piping, equipment and detailed layout drawings 2D&3D

Experience in Jacketed piping routing and supporting.

Knowledge of pre ordering and post ordering of equipment’s.

Design and fabrication supervision of skids and modules for oil and gas industry.

Preparation of fabrication Isometrics for erection indicating Spooling, pipe support locations.

Knowledge of Stress Analysis from CAESAR II 5.0 & Pipe support designing for IBR/Critical lines and non IBR lines as well.

Preparation of Support design and detail drawing for all kind of lines for erection.

Preparation of Zero/Intermediate/Final level MTO piping, fittings, Valve and Support

Co-ordination with inter-dept., as well as intra departments civil, electrical, instrumentation.

Verification of isometric drawing with respect to P&ID and piping layout

Familiar with Vendor Drawings

Knowledge of fabrication of higher diameter pipe and fittings from plate.

Carry out maintenance operations, Knowledge in basic construction safety and task close report.

PR Creation for all BOM

Ensuring project quality as per customer requirement.

Hours estimation for all the deliverables

Interaction and meeting with clients/Vendors and site supervision

Well versed in AutoCAD V2013 2D/3D/Isometrics and below versions.
