Paint Shop experience

For Quality and long-lasting spray painting:

1 – I prefer to remove all the current paint with paint remover, or sand them away (tough with hand sanding) or use of a scraper to scrape it off. If there is a more amount of bare metals. Otherwise sanding by orbital sander with paper no: 60, 80, and 120.

2 - Use soap or turpentine to clean/prepare the surface for painting or use Paint Primers. (A costly way of doing it, but provides results)

3 - For Dark colored Paints: Just apply about 4 times or as desired amount of thin coatings. (Leave it to dry for 10 - 30mins apart for each coating)Then spray a few thin Clear/lacquer paint coatings onto the painted surface to protect the paint. The color paint is left to dry at least 30mins before applying the Clear paint.

4 - For Bright Colored/Florescent Paints: It is best that you give it a couple of White paint coatings on it first, apply about 4 times or as desired amount of thin coatings. (Leave it to dry for 10 - 30mins apart for each coating)Then spray a few thin Clear/lacquer paint coatings onto the painted surface to protect the paint. Remember that the color paint is left to dry at least 30mins before applying the Clear paint.

5 - For Simple or Easy-Washable/Short-term painting

1 - Just prepare the surface by cleaning it with soap or make sure there’s no dirt or dust on it. (You don't have to bother removing the paint)

2 - Apply multiple thin coatings onto it. And that's it.

- Remember to give it about 15mins for it to dry before each coating.

- For best results on Bright colored paints, just give it a few white coatings onto the surface first.

3 - If you want a glossy look and if you also want to protect the paint abet, Give it a few coats of Clear paint.

Usually a wet paint looks glossy and has a very strong smell. But I usually place my hands near the surface and feel, a wet paint gives quite a cold feeling as the chemicals are evaporating from it
