WORK EXPERIENCE:

April 2018 till now: Senior resident Radio-diagnosis: Currently working as Senior Resident Doctor in the Department of Radio-diagnosis, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, one of the prestigious medical college in India.

My job profile includes:

-Teaching: Provide training to medical students, residents and fellows who rotate through the Department of Radiology

-Assist in the development and training of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional patient service.

-Working currently 60 hours per week.

Work independently as 3rd on call/ senior Radiology registrar in the department for all emergency reporting.

Aug 2017 – April 2018: Senior resident Radio-diagnosis: Currently working as Senior Resident Doctor in the Department of Radio-diagnosis, Lady Harding medical college and associated hospitals. One of oldest Victorian Hospital and Medical College in the Country, also one of the largest Maternity and Pediatric tertiary care hospital in the Delhi and National capital region.

Worked as a specialty registrar in department of Radio diagnosis at University College of Medical Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi, India. Which is the biggest government tertiary care and referral center in East Delhi and National capital region.

Exposure and responsibilities:

-Rotational posting in the various sub departments of Radiology like MRI, CT, USG, Barium studies, Interventional radiology, X ray reporting, HSG, IVP and others.

-Use to Report independently all routine and emergency CT scans and conduct USG scans.

-Worked independently in the department for all emergency reporting of CT whole body including head, chest and abdomen. USG and Doppler scan and Interventional radiological procedures like CT or USG guided lung or liver biopsy and aspirate, on 1:6 based Rota.

-Presentations in departmental seminar, journal club, hospital mortality meetings and in CMEs on regular basis.

-Teaching responsibility towards trainees of DNB, MD radiology and BSc radiography, Nurses, Nursing student and other technical program students.

-Was actively involved in the research work conducted by the department, already has 3 international publications and 1 international paper presentation at ECR in 2015 and many national presentation and publications.

Dec 2013 till May 2014: Junior resident doctor in Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Maternity: The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India, is the biggest tertiary care unit and research centre in the state of Punjab and Haryana in India.

Jan 2013 till Dec 2013: Junior Resident/Registrar: At Eye Hub, eye hospital, Faridabad, NCR, Delhi.

Exposure and responsibilities:

-Was use to assist various ophthalmology doctors in the out-patient department by doing detail history and examination of the patients and also use to assist in the surgeries.

-Was use to do minor OT procedures and ophthalmic examinations.

January 2012 - December 2012: 1 year rotatory internship/ FY-1 in different medical and surgical specialties, Lady Harding Medical College (LHMC) and Hospital (1000 bedded), New Delhi, India.

Worked as Intern/ FY 1 in one of the Victorian time hospital in Delhi as FY 1 and was rotated in all clinical and non-clinical specialties on Rota based. Was use to help in managing patients in ward and emergency in various specialties.

AUDITS:

I am familiar with the audit process and am enthusiastic in applying it to clinical practice. I have designed and led several audit projects at GTB Hospital in India, including a regional audit program. These include, series of audit of lung biopsy and other radiological interventional cases in the department and morbidity and mortality.

Clinical Skills:

Perform ultrasounds, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasound-Doppler X-ray imaging, portable radiography and fluoroscopic procedures.

Serve a diverse caseload including newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.

Interpret data and provide recommendations for optimal patient care.

Experience in independently performing multiple CT as well as USG guided interventions like lung biopsy, renal biopsy, pigtail catheter insertion.

Experience with numerous level II ultrasound and interpretation of all possible congenital anomalies.

Updated with the newest trends in Radiology and Regularly attending Medical Education seminar.
