“Keysight RF and Microwave Industry-Ready student certification” conducted by Keysight Technologies

Online Udemy certification on “Basic principles of LabVIEW”. ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Impedance Matching Circuit

Designed an impedance matching circuit with Triquint Process Design Kit. The impedance of the load was designed using microstrip lines and simulated using ADS. The lumped elements were selected using the Q-circles on the Smith Chart. The layout was generated, and the design was fabricated, characterized with a Vector Network Analyzer. A bandwidth of 75.993% was obtained for a given center frequency of 1.5 GHz with a return loss of 10 dB. Microstrip Coupled Line Filter

Designed a broadband filter with distributed elements to achieve a figure of merit between 1.9GHz-2.4GHz. The design and simulation were done using ADS and the design was fabricated on an FR4 substrate was measured in USF Wireless and Microwave (WAMI) Lab.

Low Noise Amplifier

Designed a low noise amplifier (LNA) using Keysight ADS and Modelithics library for given specification. Simulated and measured results obtained were compared. The measurement was performed at USF WAMI Lab. RF Power Amplifier Design

A Class AB Power amplifier (PA) was designed using GaN HEMT transistor which was modelled by Modelithics and simulated using ADS. The designed amplifier met the required specification in L-Band providing an efficiency of 65% with a power output of 41.23dBm.
