• AutoMobile (Jan. 2018 - Dec. 2018): Took the lead on forward collision warning of an Advanced Driver Assistance System. Retrained a TensorFlow MobileNet using a collected dataset to achieve a 92% accuracy, and used the model in conjunction with OpenCV to create a forward collision warning implementation in Python. The AutoMobile project won best computer science project at the Lehigh University Research Expo in Spring 2018 and won outstanding senior design project in Fall 2018.

• “The Buzz” (Aug. – Dec. 2017): One of five students on a development team that implemented a social media app while operating in an Agile environment. Rotated through Web Frontend Developer, Backend Developer, Android Developer, and Project Manager roles. Contributed to the frontend using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, the backend using Java and PostgreSQL, and the Android app using Java. Used Git to work on the project simultaneously using different branches and gained experience resolving merge conflicts.

• WODKeeper (Jan. 2018 – Present): Developed the front end to manage and track CrossFit workouts for athletes through HTML, CSS, JQuery and Bootstrap. Future plans are to incorporate a database so athletes can create accounts and monitor progress.

Relevant Experience

• Software Engineering Teaching Assistant (Fall 2018): Supervised six, five-person, student development teams for 15 hours per week and helped manage scrum meetings and sprint deadlines. Learned to discuss code issues with students of different experience levels successfully and succinctly.

• Research Assistant (Fall 2018): Used the open-source Robot Operating System (ROS) in conjunction with an Intel RealSense D435 camera and MATLAB to implement Simultaneous Localization and Mapping

(SLAM) to create a “poor-man’s” GPS system for possible use in warehouses as a low-cost alternative to expensive GPS systems.
