Prediction of Caravan Insurance Policy Buyers using Big-data Analytics [Jan’ 16]
• The data analytical task was to predict whether a customer is interested in a caravan insurance policy from a large data set supplied from Dutch Data Mining Company Sentinel Machine research. Analysis was preceded with exploratory data analysis and visualizing the data to gain insight into certain particularities of the dataset. Using a minimum of two different data mining algorithms namely C5.0 and CHAID (decision making algorithm). The analysis was carried out using IBM SPSS Modeler and SPSS Statistics.
