ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Automated Optical Inspection of PCB February 2018 – May 2018
PCB inspection to verify that the characteristics of board manufacturing are in conformity with the design specifications.
Implemented feature extraction, feature matching and feature detection algorithms using SURF detection technique.
Using Image processing techniques, the examination process was fast, reliable and which further increased efficiency by 30%.
Differential Drive Mobile Robot March 2018 – May 2018
Developed robust software for integrating multiple sensor and tracking systems that delivered accurate visual odometry system.
Implementation of Bug 0, Bug 1 and Bug 2 Algorithms via Arduino on robot to configure the path from start to goal position.
Bug 2 Algorithm found to be more reliable as it reduced the processing time by 600ms.
Digit Classification using MNIST Database August 2018
Trained and tested a set of classifiers for pattern analysis in solving handwritten digit recognition problems using python.
Implemented an Multicategory PTA using elements of trained network that improved the performance of the system by 69%.
Analysis of Processor Performance September 2018 – December 2018
Executed a sample program on Simple Scalar by varying different processor parameters to see their performance impacts and find the optimal configuration.
Observed the performance impacts by calculating the CPI, IPC and total execution time values.
Varied the processor parameters like, execution type, L1/Data cache size and came up with the optimal processor configuration.
