Pencoyd Iron Works, Order all Steel under budgeted cost, increase workers throughput, workman’s ship and quality, reviewing all Blueprints for any discrepancies prior to building to ensure the budgeted building time is not compromised and production stays on schedule and under budget, setting up, establishing and scheduling all periodic inspections of all plant equipment; machinery, welding machines, shop tools, field tools and equipment, fork trucks, overhead cranes, lifting gear, trucks, inspecting all weld quality per blueprint specifications, disciplinary action, payroll and interviewing new hires.

Aker Philadelphia Shipyard; Through Education, Training and Work experience, having the ability increased worker knowledge, production, performance, throughput, workmanship and quality with on the job training; the ability to cut the overall production man hours budgeted by 50% in the Web line and A2 lines on hull 001, I was given the task to help, review, establish the set up ISO 9001 for the shipyard, working with the SAE Manager to maintaining OSHA regulations for workers safety and health in all departments, able to cut an additional 30% on hull 002 the following year. In 2002 I was tasked to establish and maintain Homeland Security protection and security for all the shipyards exposed areas on the water front and through our security check points, later that same year I was promoted to night superintendent overseeing all shipyard production and activities. In 2003 after establishing fully operational 2nd /3rd shifts, I received a promotion back to day shift overseeing 4 production departments, sitting on the board to establish; storage lactations, warehouse, tool cribs, lay down areas for deliveries to other departments, promoted to oversee all final production of Hull 001 and 002 in dry docks 4 and 5 so they would make the delivery date to our customer Matson Navigation and working with Matson on all final inspections and approvals before and after sea trials for on time delivery, to later managing 9 different departments and overseeing multiple ships, workmanship and final inspection before and after sea trials for our customer OSG. Achieved delivery of nine ships within budget and on schedule and two clean sweeps, meaning ship were taken into service after sea trials; increased production, throughput, workmanship and quality in all areas worked at Aker Philadelphia Shipyard.
