Senior Design Project 2018

Worked for an entrepreneur in a team of five to develop a cheaper, efficient alternative to expensive patient lift devices currently on the market.

Clinical Design Project Spring 2017

Observed for unmet clinical needs at Vidant Emergency Department, ECU Family Physical Therapy, ECU Dental School, and Pitt County Care Clinic.

Identified a problem, then worked with a business team to successfully design a cheaper, more efficient stretcher lift system along with a business plan that captured the interest of multiple investors.

Research Fall 2018

Determined the amount of solar energy production capacity necessary to switch from certain percentages of nuclear, hydroelectric, or coal power to solar power in North Carolina.

The amount of land needed for the change to solar power was computed based on the necessary solar energy production capacity.

Research presented at ECU Sustainability Symposium. Won 2nd place.
