Identified a problem, then worked with a business team to successfully design a cheaper, more efficient stretcher lift system along with a business plan that captured the interest of multiple investors.

Determined the amount of solar energy production capacity necessary to switch from certain percentages of nuclear, hydroelectric, or coal power to solar power in North Carolina.

The amount of land needed for the change to solar power was computed based on the necessary solar energy production capacity.

Research presented at ECU Sustainability Symposium. Won 2nd place.
