Summary

Currently pursuing a Computer Engineering bachelor degree at University of Toronto, I hold great passion about information technology and I am willing to develop a career related to computer software or hardware. As a second year student, I have maintained a CGPA of 3.58 and I have mastered many necessary skills, such as, process oriented and object oriented programming, logic circuits designing, electrical circuits analyzing, calculus and engineering mathematics, engineering writing skill, and the most important one, the problem solving skill. Education

University of Toronto

Bachelor's Degree of Computer Engineering

Toronto, Ontario

Enrolled September 2017

Ended the first year of the curriculum with being in the Dean's honor's List (top 25% in the Electrical and Computer Engineering ranking).

In the Engineering Strategy and Practice course, our real client spoke highly about our group's design and the well written engineering documents. Employment and Projects History

Reversi Game Individual Project

Designer, Coder and Tester

March 2018 – April 2018

The Reversi game designed by me was written in C. The algorithm evaluates the available moves first, and then give them a mark by calculating how many stones it will be able to flip, and it evaluate one step after it. The move that is evaluated to the highest total mark of the two steps will be made by the computer. The algorithm can recognize some place as very good move or very bad move in specific situations using human strategies to adjust the mark evaluation. Digital system final project

Team Leader

September 2018 – December 2018

A game named "Stack" was designed to be running on FPGA. We used a PS2 keyboard as our input and a VGA monitor and 7-segment display as output. The code were written in Verilog, and ModelSim was used to help us to test the design. Our design is mainly composed of one datapath, two RAM blocks and one controller which is a 12-state finite state machine. I led the team to finish the three milestones on time and designed the framework of the controller and datapath, the keyboard interpreter, and the scoring system. I also did most testing and debugging work. YuanBo Education Group

Teaching Assistant

May 2018 – August 2018

I worked as a teaching assistant of British Columbia grade 12 pre-calculus and physics curriculum. Since the courses are online summer courses, I also worked as the supervisor and ground lecturer. I helped some students to build their interests in science subjects, and some students have great improvements.
