The rig consists of the required vacuum chamber, valves, manifolds, power distribution unit, sensors and NI data acquisition hardware. The control and acquisition signals will be monitored and stored for offline/online analysis.

The real-time data communication among all these systems is carried out through Analog, Discrete, Synchro signals and MIL-Std-1553B and ARINC429 data buses. AIR consists of the required PCI hardware and the software to simulate and acquire signals of all the interfaces present in the DARIN –III system.
