Erik Strom
QA Manager

I had the pleasure of supervising Don for two years at Wargaming Seattle as his QA Manager. As the QA rep for Audio, Don both tested as well as created all of our audio test cases, in addition Don tested a number of our art tools. Don had a very easy going personality who worked well with both the QA team as well as the development teams. Don demonstrated a close attention to detail that would constantly show in the bugs that he wrote. Don showed an aptitude for growth often staying after hours to learn many of our development tools. I would definitely recommend Don for future QA opportunities.

Associate Software Engineer

During our time at Wargaming Seattle Don repeatedly proved himself to be an invaluable asset to the QA team. He rapidly took sole ownership of our entire audio testing pipeline and built out a comprehensive testing suite from scratch. When our priorities shifted later on in the project Don was thrown head first into testing an extremely complex content creation tool pipeline where he also excelled. It's a shame things ended the way they did as Don was well on his way to moving into a more creative role thanks to his 3D Modeling and Design skills. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Don again and any team would be lucky to have him.
Cameron Laborde-Zank
Associate Release Manager

I worked with Don for over a year at Wargaming Seattle and he was an incredibly solid tester. Over my time we asked him to swap to multiple teams doing multiple jobs. He started on audio and was our go to person for how to use Wwise tools. Later, Don moved to concept art then went to level art then started taking on tools testing and finally was working directly with tech art on testing a whole branch and tools pipeline. Don was always willing to rise to any task I asked him to complete and was very honest and communicative if he ever had issues with the workload (which was rare). Don has a passion for concept art and 3D modeling which has helped greatly to inform his testing. He could easily fit most QA positions and, if given the chance, I believe would be a valuable addition as part of an art team.
