Forest Grove Police Department

Detective 01-01-15 to present

Investigate and manage cases ranging from elder abuse (largely financial), high dollar fraud, theft, burglary, major assaults, sexual assaults, child abuse, homicide, and robbery.

Remain on call to respond to and take over management of scenes that will require extensive investigation and follow up beyond the capacity of patrol staff.

Conduct in depth victim, witness and suspect interviews to use in conjunction with evidence to determine what occurred in an incident.

Use common computer programs to help summarize and highlight important portions of complex cases.

Present case summaries in public educational forums.

Write in depth and detailed reports, search warrants and operations plans that are understandable by those inside and outside law enforcement.
