Professional Service
Education Field 2005 to 2018
Extensive experience in providing instruction and developing strategies that enhance existing curriculums. Have experience working with special needs students as well as Hispanic students who need extra assistance in comprehending teaching materials. As a Dental Assistant Instructor revamped the existing lecture method of instruction and developed a “hands on” approach that increased the comprehension of the course material. This innovation was well received by other instructors and students alike. The present role as an Admissions Counselor for Diversity Initiatives is to recruit and increase the Latino “Hispanic” students at a state university. The strategy is to develop awareness and assist these students on some the challenges they face impeding accessibility to higher education.
