Assistant Controller 01/2018-Present

Conimar Group LLC

Reconcile 3 bank accounts each month average over 1000 transactions each month

Manage Accounts Receivable department 2 direct reporting 5 non-direct and a receivable line of 3M

Analyze set costs for Coasters, Placemats, Cutting Mats and any other product we manufacture

Coasters produced on an average 8-hour shift is 40,000, Placemats and cutting boards are taken from plastic pellets and melted by a Extruder and made into flat sheets, 12-hour shift produces over 100,000 of the placemats and 150,000 of the cutting mats. The Placemats go on to be printed then cut and packaged. There are 2 Coaster Flatbed printer, 3 Extruder lines and 1 Placemat Printing Press.

Analyze Quality control to keep waste to a minimum, find ways to streamline processes without giving up quality to save time on

Analyze, process and set policy for credit card processing. On a average day credit card have sales in excess of $20,000 and Authorizations in excess of $25,000 to $30,000 for upcoming orders 3 direct reports for this department.

Monitor Invoicing and work flow between shipping and invoicing. Invoice $4,000,000 a month. On average we invoice over 2000 invoices a month. 3 direct reports.

Consolidate Conimar and its subsidiaries. Counter Art, Chop Chop, Conimar Custom, Cala Home and Highland Woodcrafters.

Manage Fixed assets totaling $10,000,000

Assist Month end closing process.

Prosource Flooring

Reconcile and post credits from flooring returns. Average return $15,000

Follow up and collect on old credits that were not paid by suppliers. Provide proof of delivery to verify the return was made.

Communicate with vendors to stream line paperwork and expedite returns. Cut time down by 2 weeks in the short period I was in the position.

Monitor 3 stores with a volume of returns more than $150,000 a month for the 3 stores to make sure the paperwork was processed, and returns were shipped back per specified manner.

Post all returns into account program and monitor and post AP entries

Process month end entries for returns and returns outstanding.

Insurance Inspector 05/2017-09/2017

Insurance Risk Services

Inspect Commercial properties on a contract basis for underwriters and give opinions on worthiness of property for insurance risk

Evaluate Commercial properties for underwriters and give opinions on worthiness of property for insurance risk
