Volunteer CISPES (Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador) DECEMBER 2017 – PRESENT
As a Boston Chapter member:
- coordinate social media for the chapter
- plan fundraising and educational events
- coordinate college interns
As a 2018 Summer Delegate:
- raised $2000 dollars to cover trip cost for other delegates
- traveled to El Salvador and met with international activists heading anti-criminalization of abortion and other women’s movements
- wrote a press statement and gave a press conference with a delegation
- documented the trip and gave report backs
