WORK EXPERIENCE

Professional Petroleum Practical Training in Shengli Oilfield – July 2017

My position was Internship Trainee.

Responsibilities

Get to know the Artificial Lift methods used in Shengli oilfield such as rod pumps(SUCKER ROD PUMP & ROTAFLEX PUMP), ESP, PCP. Drilling Rig system, fishing tools and how they operate.

Working on the field where hydraulic fracturing process was taking place in some wells

Getting to know the process of drilling a well. Functions of a drilling rig and various other drilling equipments.

Perform some basic experiments on testing cores to get various reservoir parameters through the core analysis labs at SINOPEC research and development center.

Visited KERUI group, Victor International Institute of Petroleum Training(VIPT) and WEIMA group which is a drilling pipes manufacturing company whereby I was able to see the whole manufacturing process of drill pipe, drill collar, heavy walled drill pipes and other downhole tools.
