: Responsibilities/Activities

Responsible for Planning and supervising the scaffolding works the planning and co-ordination of all manpower materials supplies, towards the proper completion of the site Scaffolding construction works on schedule respecting the HSE requirements.

Supervises work crews to best utilize manpower and materials exercise discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practice and idleness.

Plan, organize and control operations to ensure efficient delegation of duties and responsibilities.

Responsible for planned progress schedule incorporating quality and safety.

Ability to optimize manpower, equipment and materials to ensure efficient and timely completion of the works.

Participation in project progress meeting and providing input related to the status of scaffolding works.

Checking and evaluating the effectiveness of the action taken to prevent the injuries.

Planning and directing the procurement of scaffolding materials required for the proper completion of scaffolding on schedule and after making best use of the existing scaffolding materials.

Directing and supervising the scaffolding crews in the performance of all aspects of their work.

Discussing and resolving daily problems with the Scaffolding crews and the construction team.

Ensure smooth execution of the scaffolding erection/inspection or removal of Scaffolding.

Monitoring status of scaffolding works on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and providing reports to the Construction Manager as per the project reporting procedure.

Liaison with scaffolding department Manager, Project Engineer & onsite Manager regarding work related activities & schedules

Supervise scaffolding works at job site, and coordination to the foreman in charge for the installation/ erection of scaffolding by area, monitoring scaffolding erector for safety manner. Directly reporting to the construction manager and site manager for the scaffolding status erected job site.

Supervise of scaffolding works, and to ensure the safety of scaffolding erector in proper installation of scaffolding, and arrangement of dismantling materials in proper place to avoid incident and accident.

Supervise of scaffolding materials, inspection of scaffolding erected if in good condition and proper installation, and to maintain good quality of scaffolding erection and safety precautions.

Training for personal working for scaffolding construction i.e. Tool Box Meeting.

Able to lead,monitor and supervise team of workers.

I have 7 years’ experience in oil & gas Scaffolding Industry, Petrochemicals, Onshore, Offshore,Refinery, Rig and Construction with the scaffolding works, and trained by CITB

Supervising and Inspection of all scaffolding activities in Overall site on day to day bases and responsibility for the scaffolding activity as per plan and schedule to meets to the client requirements and ensuring the all scaffolding methods comply with HSE policy.

Establishing and maintains timely completion of scaffolding

activities as per the project timelines.

Strictly implementation of erection and dismantling of scaffolding as per British Standard’s 5973

Conducting Induction training for the new employees to familiarize with scaffold safety procedure and also hazards related to scaffolding work.

To carry out training programs for employees to make them aware about the hazards involved in scaffolding task and precautions required to overcome the hazards while performing the task.

Preparing and maintaining daily site scaffolding safety report and progress.

Checking and evaluating the effectiveness of the action taken to prevent the injuries.

Conducting trade test for new Scaffolder for the certification.

Support audit team with the client for Subcontractor Audit work.

Material testing.

Coordinate with work at height safety/Life line inspection.
