My 30-year career includes all phases of designing, developing and constructing residential and commercial projects. EDUCATION: Bachelor of Building Construction–University of Florida, May 1988. Curriculum comprised of: 1/3 building construction techniques and material, 1/3 concrete, steel, metal framing, wood framing, & MPE engineering, and 1/3 business management & business law. At the time of graduation, the Florida School of Building Construction was the number one rated building construction program in the country.

EMPLOYMENT:

11/01/2017 to Present: Crescent Homes, LLC, 725 Cool Springs Blvd, Suite 210, Brentwood, TN 37067. Title: Project Manager, Durham Farms, Mansker Farms, Somerset Downs and Bridgemore Village, Price range $450K-$600K. Responsibilities: Oversaw the construction of single-family homes from the initial site work required for basements, crawl spaces, and monolithic slab foundations. I coordinated with contractors and suppliers to construct the home in a timely manner within budget, paying close attention to the astute details required for high quality craftsmanship. I interact with architects, engineers, and codes officials on a daily basis to insure proper construction. I am very hands on with the homeowners from the pre-construction meeting through the walk-thru punch list items that need corrective work continuing through with completion of the warranty issues.

2008-2017: Owner, “The Honey Doer” A company specializing in homeowner maintenance & repair services, included home remodeling, renovations, & additions, and many other services pertaining to residential construction.

2005-2008: Owner, Developer & General Contractor Morgan Park Place West Nashville, Tennessee-Tennessee’s first EarthCraft Certified “green” mixed-use development. Title: Owner, Developer, & General Contractor.

Responsibilities: Designed and developed the first certified green development & building program (based on the EarthCraft & LEED guidelines) for optimum land use and building construction in the state of Tennessee for this mixed-use project. Developed a 32-unit site coordinating the installation of underground utilities, electrical, water, sewer, cable, phone, irrigation landscaping sign, the construction of the roads with curb and gutter including the storm water run off system implementing green guidelines. Worked in conjunction with civil, structural & MPE engineers, architects on the design of the 32 mixed-use to generate working plans and specifications. Coordinated all practices involved in constructing the mixed-use units including, obtaining construction financing, permitting, variances, project & construction estimating, updating job cost, scheduling, contracting & negotiating with sub-contractors & suppliers.

Administrative work included, hiring, payroll, accounting, management of employees, marketing, sales, execution of purchase agreement, & completion of warranty work to the satisfaction of the owner.

2000-2007: Owner, Developer & General Contractor Woodward Hills Subdivision Oak Hill, Tennessee.

Title: Owner, Developer, and General Contractor.

Responsibilities: Developed a 16-lot subdivision coordinating the installation of underground utilities, electrical, water, sewer, cable, phone, irrigation landscaping sign, gated entrance, the construction of the roads with curb and gutter including the storm water run off system. Worked in conjunction with civil, structural & MPE engineers, architects and homeowners on the design of 9 multi- million-dollar homes to generate working plans and specifications. Coordinated all practices involved in constructing the homes including, obtaining construction financing, permitting, variances, project & construction estimating, updating job cost, scheduling, contracting & negotiating with sub-contractors & suppliers.
