- Authorize autopsy requests and approve request for payment for autopsies requested by DIDD.
- Compile quarterly report for TennCare tracking Regional Mortality Committee recommendations and compliance of provider agencies for the recommendations.
-Review and approve or deny, with collaboration with the Director of Residential Services, Cost Plans submitted by Provider Agencies statewide that include a request for nursing and personal assistance services to be present in the home concurrently.
- Review and approve or deny, cost plans which include a request for payment for delegation of nursing services by a registered Nurse.
- Attend monthly Statewide Quality Management Committee meetings to provide technical assistance with each of the Regional Offices for nursing related issues.
- Attend the quarterly Quality Management Data Meeting to monitor and identify trends Statewide.
