Produce AutoCad drawings/models for deck canopies, shade sails, welded frame awnings, weather curtains, hose-bed covers, and associated hardware. Reported directly to product manager of the Active Products group. (Active vibration isolation systems, active Magnetic field cancellation) Sole applications engineer for Active Products. Highly visible role.

Configured custom applications of TMC's exclusive patented STACIS active vibration isolation systems. These systems actively monitor and reduce vibration starting at .6 Hz up though approximately 125 Hz, and function on the nanometer and micron scale regarding the movement that is provided. Collected and supplied test data and other documentation to prove system capabilities for customer applications requiring very tight specifications.

Functioned as primary first point of contact for incoming RFQ's and support questions from all new and existing customers from the academic and other research segments. Delegated some field support issues as necessary to the field installation engineer.

Acted as primary sales engineer for TMC Mag-NetX field cancellations systems. Worked countless hours with the designer and research director to develop a thorough understanding of system design, operation, capabilities and limitations. Responsible for handling new incoming magnetic field cancellation system inquiries, quote requests, and sales orders, working jointly with product manager when required.

Developed with collaboration from engineering a design layout for a custom lab installation at a major processor chip manufacturer, resulting in a large contract order over $200K.

Actively demonstrated products, and engaged potential customers at 3 major tradeshows, as a TMC employee representing the Active Products Group.

Sr. Technical Support Engineer

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems 04/2009 - 12/2010

Naval Base, Kitsap, WA (10-2009 to 08-2010)

Provided leadership to technicians through research and subsequent dissemination of appropriate and government (Strategic Systems Programs) authorized repair procedures. Provided engineering leadership to resolve problems found during conduct of inspection and test of guidance related equipment and products.

Trained customers (enlisted and Navy officers) on how to properly handle, install, and operate the General Dynamics AIS guidance components they would be handling on the submarine.

Austal Field Site, Mobile, AL (06-2009 to 08-2009)

Supported initial system test and validation, by organizing Customer witnessing of system function and operation of various General Dynamics designed systems aboard the Navy's Littoral Combat Ship II during final phase of construction.

Oversaw design and documentation of a large set of Radio Frequency cables to be used in a newly redesigned portion of the THAAD radar assembly. Took into account consideration of phase matching and design for manufacturability as well as assembly process considerations and interaction with next higher assemblies.

Prepared and submitted over 75 individual Engineering Change Notifications complete with redlines and full documentation, updated PRO/Engineer CAD model and drawing updates, as well as written summaries and engineering rationale for changes.
