A large publicly traded corporation specializing in the production of silicon and silicon alloys, with several smelting plants, mines, core metal facilities and related industries around the world. Employing a hundred people at the Niagara Falls facility and over a thousand around the world.

Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

Responsible for developing, running and maintaining continuous improvement on a safety training program for all employees. Responsible for all accident investigations and OSHA compliance. Responsible for all environmental compliance and reporting with NYSDEC and EPA regulations.

Interim On Line Care Manager

Forensic Serologist

Tested evidence for biological fluids to identify DNA, write detailed reports on analysis and testify in court. Testified in a multitude of case types from burglaries to rapes to multiple homicides. Testified in courts across Western New York at all levels from family court to federal court. Authorized as a CODIS user with full access to criminal DNA databases. Attended national conferences dealing with complex scientific issues. Progressively trained in all aspects of quality control. Initially validated Short Tandem Repeat methodology for the laboratory.
