Welding

Conduct line checking and punch list items prior to hydro testing as per P&ID, General Arrangement Drawing, Isometric drawing, and support specification/drawings.
Painting
Carryout inspection for WFT, DFT and surface finish for primer/intermediate coat/final coat applications and touch-up repairs and sign off the reports.
In-service Inspection
Attend pressure tests (hydro test, pneumatic test & helium test) for the process piping and various equipment (Heat exchangers, Pressure vessels etc.) based on the service integrity requirements.
Witnessing Calibration of Pressure Relieving Devices in and ensure proper overhauling, repair and Calibration and updating the master list, and checking the due for calibration periodically.
Carry outCorrosion monitoring inspectionswith Plant inspector at TML/CML, Deadlegs, stagnant lines, Injection points etc. and reviewing/verifying the results with base line readings and drawing/datasheet.
Thorough inspection to identify Corrosion under insulation (CUI) for piping/equipment at susceptible locations. Coordinate with insulation contractor to open damaged insulation areas & monitor insulation & cladding fix-back after thickness measurement.
Conducting the Boroscopic/Hardness/PMI according to standards/specification.
Thickness survey on the piping and storage tanks and make isometric drawing for piping on plant.
Reporting
Uploading Inspection reports (IR) and periodic thickness readings (TML/CML) to Inspection Management (IM) & Thickness Management (TM) in MERIDIUM.
