RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for smooth startup & shutdown of STG (STEAM TURBINE &GENERATOR)

Responsible for handling of blackout, island mode, cold startup, warm startup, hot startup, normal operation, emergency & safe shutdown of unit.

Performance monitoring and maintain parameter for smooth and efficient operation.

Whenever required for proper instructions and guidance to field engineers.

Monitoring of equipments like Deaerator, Boiler feed water pump (motor & turbo driven), CEP pumps, Lube oil pumps, LP Heaters, PRDS system.

Emergency handling of boiler and turbine.

Line up the unit & its auxiliaries, changeover the equipment routine testing of protection system & annunciation system.

Handling all the activities during unit shut down.

Coordinate with Maintenance Departments for planning & scheduling Preventive Maintenance of auxiliaries of Boiler and Turbine.

Knowledge of instrument air compressors and cooling water pumps.

Monitoring all utility parameters.

Ensuring use of PPE and safe work permits for maintenance jobs to avoid hazardous Environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of Erection Sequence of Turbine & Generator (Erection exp in Harbin Turbine).

Checking of alignment of casings, pedestals and rotors. Checking clearances such as Flow

path, Thermal clearances, Radial clearances, Bearing Interference and Top oil clearances, Rotor Run-out checking.

HIP, LP Casings final box up preparation works.

Maintain T&G protocols for all the activities as per field quality plan.

Erection and alignment of rotating equipment like Motors, Gearbox, Pumps, crushers, Idlers, Pulleys

Erection and alignment of all of STG, BOILER &CHP structures, coal gantries, idler supporting structures.

Material management at site as per the erection plan and requirement.

Quality checks of structure, pressure parts welding joints as per FQP.

Fixing of pipe supports, spring supports, hanger rods, sliding supports.

Preparing of monthly erection bills according to the progress achieved and certification of respective bills.

Conduct Hydro test and Pneumatic test for boiler.

Check Safety permits issued and give instructions to supervisors for using of PPE’s and done housekeeping works before and after completing works every day.
