During my time of employment with Tradesman International, I’ve been sent out to work with Benson Security Systems, Summit Electrical, and Helix Electric.

Benson Security Systems:

Installed Wattstopper control systems for 120vac LED light system. I installed room controllers, occupancy sensors (on the t-bar ceiling), and low voltage dimming wall switches. I ran 10/2MC low voltage cables from the circuit breaker to the room controller. I ran 12/2MC low voltage cable from load to load in a daisy chain configuration. Along with the12/2MC cable run, I ran the 18awg./ 2conductor, 0-10vdc dimmer control cable from the room controller to the load’s dimming ballast. Also, I ran Cat-5 cable from the room controller, to the occupancy sensor, and to the low-voltage dimming wall switch. I terminated the Cat-5 cable with RJ-45 connectors with the proper conductor configuration.

Summit Electrical:

Installed Wattstopper control systems for a 277vac lighting system. I installed LED light fixtures (on the t-bar ceiling), room controllers, occupancy sensors, and low voltage dimming wall switches. Installed LED light fixtures ( on the t-bar ceiling). I ran 10/2MC high voltage cable, 12/2MC, 12/3MC, 12/4MC, and 12/6MC high voltage and low voltage cable. Did rough-in. Bent ” EMT and ” EMT conduit.

I was the journeyman electrician in charge of the three man team that remove and replaced ” rigid metal conduit. I ratchet threaded ” rigid metal conduit around obstructions (e. g. 90 stub-up, offset bends, etc.). Installed circuit breaker boxes for outdoor use/ raintight types: 4, 12 and 13. Also, I installed uni-strut and associated hardware (e. g. spring nuts, bolts, nuts, lock-washers, etc.) to support 240vac LED single phase light fixtures, circuit breaker boxes and conduit. Myself and two helpers ran 12awg stranded copper conductors to the circuit breaker boxes and LED light fixtures. Furthermore, I hand bent ”, ” and 1” electrical metallic tubing for fixtures, small projects (e. g. 120/208vac single phase light fixtures, wireless router, relocating raceways, etc.). Moreover, I installed and connected 240vac three phase magstarters for a press brake and a dust collector. I connected and routed 4awg power cables from newly installed port and starboard generators to the power distribution panel aboard the California Princess Located at Marine Group Boat Works. Additionally, I was the journeyman electrician in charge of the installation of two 277/ 480vac three phase sump pumps. We routed the power from the dry dock switchboard, to the power control panel, and terminating at the sump pumps.

Achievements:

While on assignment at Wilshire Grand in downtown Los Angeles, Ca. I was one of three electricians assigned to Rosendin Electric, La Palma, Ca. I was part of a two man team that installed Bus Duct. We installed the Bus Duct from the substation located on the floor to the termination point on the floor. We installed the transformer that stepped down 480vac and 120vac that was being from the disconnect switch that we installed on the Bus Duct.

Responsibilities:

To support the Bus Duct we hammer drilled ” anchor bolts and bolted together 2” uni-strut. We ran MC cable from the disconnect switch on the Bus Duct to the transformer, and from the transformer to the switchboard. Also, I swept and organized material.

Achievement:

Rex Moore Electric (Oct. 2015 – Feb. 2016) - While on assignment at Ocean Mist in Coachella, Ca., I was part of a crew subcontracted to Rex Moore Electric and performed the following: Assembled 208vac, LED single lamp/ dual lamp/ four lamp parking lot light posts (a.k.a. Sites Lamps), and 208vac, incandescent lamp street light posts. After assembly was complete, and according to the blue print, I landed the single/ dual lamp street light posts where they were to be erected. Also, I was part of a crew that installed 50 – 208vac LED lighting fixtures in the warehouse portion of the fruit and vegetable transfer center. Moreover, I installed a single phase, 120vac motor in the icehouse.

Responsibilities:

According to the circuit blue print, I was part of a crew that installed 1” pvc sch. 40 conduit and ran the 12awg wiring from the base of the light posts and landed the wires on their appropriate connection points on the terminal block. Also, we ran the underground 12awg cables from the point of connection to the supply cables, to the locations where the light posts were to be erected. I bent ”, ”, 1” EMT to connect to the j-boxes that would be connected to MC cable . The MC cable we ran terminated at the LED lighting fixtures that we installed in the fruit and vegetable warehouse.

Successfully disconnected and relocated a motor control center that operates thirteen 400vcd servo motors. Along with relocating the MCC, we ran existing cables and new cables to the associated motors and the touch screen control center. Also, we fitted and installed 2 rigid metal conduit and 5” 5” gutters according to the route of the cable installation.

Responsibilities:
