Summary

Currently, I serve as a Sr. Research Associate for the Charles and Jane Pak Center for Mineral Metabolism and Clinical Research on the campus of UT Southwestern Medical Center. Daily, I wear multiple hats to effectively lead my CLIA-licensed laboratory. During my tenure I have used my basic science knowledge, observant nature, and self-determined drive to accomplish my goals and ensure my lab is both productive and cost-efficient. While maintaining my laboratory’s credentials, I also serve as the liaison between several departments to collaborate multidisciplinary research studies.

My bench skills include but are not limited to: urinalysis, organ/bone ashing, HPLC, immunohistochemistry, western blot, flow cytometry, and DNA extraction. Computer skills attained include but are not limited to: KRONOS, Epic, PeopleSoft, ImageJ, Microsoft Office, SigmaPlot, and FlowJo.
