ARMSCOR RESPONSIBILITIES 1 (Service Manager, 1999 - 2012)
Application Management Services were outsourced to T-Systems and the Application Team was situated at the client’s premises (onsite). Management responsibilities were to create and maintain healthy client relationships based on excellent service delivery and expanding of business. It included maintaining / developing systems in Mainframe (Cobol/IDMS), Client Server (SQL/.NET/) and WEB (Intranet/Internet, SQL/ASP) environments. This was achieved with yearly Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSS) between 85% and 92% over the mentioned period. Responsibilities to co-ordinate and manage the above applications / resources included the following:
1.Management of Mainframe / Client Server / Web Systems according to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
A.Systems Management.
i. Application System Maintenance.
ii. Application System Development.
iii.Project and Risk Management of above.
iv.Customer Support / Liaison.
v.Third Party Management.
B. Management of Contract & Budget.
i.Ensure that contractual rules are adhered too.

ARMSCOR RESPONSIBILITIES 2 (Mainframe Support Contractor, 2012 - 2013)
With the outsourcing contract coming to an end in 2012, due to ARMSCOR in-sourcing their ICT services, I was approached by ARMSCOR to remain as a contractor maintaining the core legacy systems. I continued to maintain the Mainframe Systems (e.g. Finance, Procurement, QA, Infrastructure and Personnel Security). I also translated the mentioned systems from Afrikaans to English. Once the translation was completed my contract ended.
ARMSCOR RESPONSIBILITIES 3 (Mainframe Support Contractor, 2015 - Current)
In May 2015, ARMSCOR again called on my services to solve critical Suppliers Payments problems. Once solved, ARMSCOR negotiated a new contract, which will be ending mid 2019. The contract is to maintain (support / development) the mentioned legacy Mainframe systems and to ensure continuous Client satisfaction.
