ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY

Managing daily operations of MEP, and sub-contractors

To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other safety problems that may arise.

Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and activities for all disciplines.

Ensuring that all site work is carried out with best practice safety standards.

Inspect facilities, machinery, equipment, systems etc to verify safety, maintenance, conditions functions and quality every day

Preparing scope of work, estimations for outstanding work as and when required

Supervises subordinate personnel, assisting Facilities Manager in manpower planning for the site, demining workload, delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance.

Establish and maintain high quality health and safety arrangements in accordance with best practice guidelines from central support and Facilities Manager

To assist in maintaining, testing and implementing disaster planning procedures to cover all emergencies. Assist in organizing and coordinating of fire evacuation drills.

Be familiar with all heating, ventilating, mechanical and electrical equipment in each building and have a sound understanding of the purpose and general working of such equipment.

Actively participate in facilities management meetings, trainings and development exercises

Be responsible for routine correspondence using standard documents and templates as appropriate.

Report to Facilities Manager in accordance with an agreed procedure, ensuring the Facilities Manager is kept informed on matters relating to standards of facilities management.

To assist in keeping all other Company clients reporting systems upto date as necessary

Interface with the client representative, contractors, consultants and the project management team for handover requirements especially the local regulations (Municipality and Civil Defense)

Carry out complete snagging works to all engineering disciplines, (MEP, Civil, and Architectural) and prepare condition report.

Participate and witness the actual simulation test of Fire Alarm System, Life and Safety Systems, BMs, CCTV, Access Control and all related MEP Systems.

Manage team of engineers and technicians during the transition of the property from the handover stage of the construction to a fully operations facility management account. PROJECTS

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Drilling Machines: The main objective of the study was to determine the optimum setting of feed rate and spindle speed so that the thrust force, torque, local circularity error, and machining time can be minimized.

Production and Characteristics of Aluminum using Friction Stir Process: We reported the results of microstructural, mechanical property and residual stress investigations of four aluminum AA5083 friction stir welds produced under varying conditions. It was found that the weld properties were dominated by the thermal input rather than the mechanical deformation by the tool.
