Bank of America / Merrill Lynch. - (February 2017 – February 2018)

Design, develop, implement and maintain multiple projects for Global Markets Trading System using COBOL/CICS, VSAM, DB2.

Developed project to enhance customer information to support Expanded Escheatment Process. The changes were to identify last activity type and date, and updating dormancy status to properly manage abandoned property process.

Maintained and enhanced LOPR (Large Options Positions Reporting) transmissions.

Fidelity Investments, LLC. - (2000 - 2017)

Design, develop, implement and maintain multiple projects for Mandatory Corporate Action system (REORG).

Developed batch and online parts using DB2 and COBOL/CICS. The system loads and maintains announcements including mergers, splits, name changes and liquidations. It also pulls down account base and processes payouts, rescinds and withdrawals providing feeds to bookkeeping system.

Maintained and enhanced security trading and clearance system. Analysed and provided solutions to optimize functionalities of P&S (purchase and sale) Engine.

Developed Interactive Real-Time Trade Matching (RTTM) and Real-Time Reporting (MSRB) System for feeds from Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). The interactive communications are based on ISO15022 SWIFT message scripts and supported by MQ series messaging protocol.

Created the event-driven, real-time Trade Interface System, that served as a communication link between external client base Trade Capture System and the in-house Trade Posting / Settlement System. The features included: storing inbound message components in database (DB2), system controls with respect to start and end of the day, electronic proofing, and exception conditions.

Incorporated time zone adjustments to improve efficiency of the Customer Service response including correct time recording.

Modified the Server Manager system performing extended effective dates analysis to determine customer eligibility for the medical coverage.

Incorporated a new function, Disbursements Dual Approval, into the on-line Corporate Check Management System. The new function allowed for multiple stop placements, add/void issuance and match paid decisions with option for dual approval of disbursements or their pending delays.
