Description:

Comprehensive work on the planning, analysis and design of a residential apartment building has been arrived in this project report. Apartment building is a multi-family structure accommodating more number of people in a place through which, the land value is shared by those people and can reduce land price. The analysis of the building is done both by manually and STAAD PRO software. And the manualdesign is done by limit state method as per IS 456: 2000 and IS875: 1987 recommendations. Building byelaws were also referred for each component in our building and the specifications referred according to NBC. Auto Cad software is used for preparing the plan and reinforcement detail for column, staircase etc. Project Designs and Screenshots

“STRENGTH BEHAVIOUR OF CONCRETE BY PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF COCKLE SHELL AS COARSE AGGREGATE” investigation of coarse aggregate replaced cockle shell waste of material is used (2017).

Participated & presented a paper in national technical symposium in “CADD-modelling” conducted by RAJA RAJAN ENGINEERING COLLAGE (2017).

I always work to inspire myself, to achieve highest goal and to convert ideas to experience. I have worked as “PANDIAN CONSTRUCTION” in Design and Site Engineering six month. I have worked as “L&T FINANCE LTD” in Loan Section one year. Summary

Comprehensive work on strength behaviour of concrete by partial replacement of cockle shell as coarse aggregate investigation of coarse aggregate replaced cockle shell material is used. On the basis of the experimental studies carried out on M25 grade concrete as partial replacement of coarse aggregates with sea shells. For all mix proportions, the cube (150x150x150mm), Cylinder (150 mm diameter & 300 mm height), & beam (150 mm X 150 mm X 500 mm) specimen will cast. Concrete mixes containing 0%, 10%, and 20% cockle shell replacement level were cast before subjected to water curing for 28 days. The result on the workability and compressive strength split tensile strength of concrete containing various percentage of cockle shell content as partial coarse aggregate replacement.
