Objective

I have 18 years with Wells Fargo in the Audit department as a CPA and Vice President requiring 75% travel throughout the US. I would like a position in the Financial Statement, Accounting, Audit and/or Tax field perhaps with a small CPA firm with minimal travel 10%. I would consider part time and contractor work with a local commute in the greater Gwinnett County, Georgia area. Certification - Georgia CPA License Remains active (CPA007832) through 12/31/2019. License maintained by taking 80 hours of Accounting/Tax/Audit/Management education every two years. Education

1) 1976 – 1979: Master of Science in Business Administration (Metropolitan College) of Boston University. Earned nights and weekends while stationed in Wurzburg Germany with the US Army.

2) 1971 – 1973: Bachelor in Business (Marketing) at Indiana University Bloomington Indiana. 3) 1969 – 1971: Associate in Business Administration at Vincennes University. Experience

1) May 2000 – Present: Wells Fargo as a Senior Examiner and VP. Performed Prospect and Recurring exams of current clients. Clients had credit lines of $25MM up to

$400MM. Examinations consisted of the review of AR, Inventory, AP, Accruals, M&E, General Ledger and Financial Statements. Prepared lengthy written reports requiring superior writing skills. Duties include Exam reviews and training new examiners. 2) 1995 – 2000: CIT Senior Examiner. Performed Prospect and Recurring exams of current clients. Clients had relatively small credit lines of $5MM to $25MM. 3) 1986 – 1995: Barclays Bank Senior Examiner AVP. Performed Prospect and Recurring exams of current clients. While employed, Barclays was acquired by Shawmut Bank which was later acquired by Bank of America.

4) 1982 -1986: Harris Lanier Corporation. Senior Financial Auditor – Internal Audit. Reviewed Operations of Sales branches, manufacturing facility and in House Finance company. Performed reviews of the AR, AP, and Payroll departments. Later made Accounts Payable Manager for one year.

5) 1980 -1982: Kanes Benator Co. Staff Accountant for small CPA / Law firm. Prepared financial statements and client Audit work. Did personal and corporate taxes for three seasons. 6) 1975 – 1980: US Army Sergeant stationed in Germany 3 years and the US in Kentucky and Oklahoma 2 years. Duties included Section Chief and Training NCO.
