Automatic Battery bank changer

• Responsible for understanding the Project requirements.

• The project aim here is to design a PLC based 24VDC power sup- ply that will ensure spike less uninterrupted power with the use of battery banks.

• The system will operate in either automatic or manual mode. Man- ual control buttons are de-activated during automatic operation.

• The PLC system monitors bus bar voltage when the power supply is running.Incase the bus bar voltage drops below certain point the other battery will take over to prevent bus bar volatge from drop- ping further.

• Responsible for preparing the thesis report for academics.

• Tools : Rexorth Bosch PLC, relays, LED,Potentiometer. Smart home using LabVIEW

• Responsible for understanding the Project requirements.

• It was a sensor based efficient home security system. The Idea was to design a system that detected intrusion and alerted the owner and also helps in reducing power consumption.

• The system can monitor the temperature, lighting, burglar alarm, and camera of the house these parameters are connected to Lab- VIEW software as the main controller for these systems.

• All the sensors is connected directly with NI DAQ’s(Data Acquisition system).LabVIEW reads the signas from sensors as variable analog values. After processing the signal, the LabVIEW will send a signal for actuation of components(Light,Fan,Alarm,Camera).

Solar based advanced water quality monitoring system using wireless sensor network

• Responsible for understanding the Project requirements.

• This project involves in design a Solar powered system that can sense the pH, temperature and salinity of the liquids and to monitor the same through wireless firmware device.

• All sensors and Zigbee modules are connected to the controller board and collect data from various sensor nodes and send it to base station by wireless channel.

• simulate and analyze various parameters for quality control and publish the corresponding record over web for public information and further assessment of water resource.
