PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Supplier Backfeed initiative is to replace the Supplier Contract creation and the update activities for domestic vendors in the current Legacy Vendor Master system through MDM Supplier UI application. The Supplier Backfeed will handle real-time updates from MDM Supplier UI to Legacy Vendor Master almost instantly. With the introduction of backfeeds, Supplier updates will no longer be initiated in Vendor Master and hence delta loads sent to MDM will be disabled. When the Backfeed interface is turned on, users will not be able to use the Vendor Master screen to maintain supplier information. Updates will be allowed for few fields that are not MDM critical and best left open for edit in legacy. Also there will be a small group of super users in Vendor Master that can access all legacy update screens for business critical and emergency cases.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Client Acquisition System CAS is the core underwriting system of MetLife for Individual Business. Agents submit the application which reaches the underwriters who then work on the case to decide on the issue or decline of the application. Issued cases are then sent to Admin systems for further processing. System supports edit processing, automated requirements processing, image processing and interfaces with numerous external applications like MIB, Labone, Premium calculation system, Admin systems, status tracking systems. Was involved in project development from 7.04 release till 8.04 release.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
GDMS is a subsystem of MAXX and GMAR. Whenever there is an exception found in any account, Open Item will be created by the GDMS System. And this Open item will be tracked by GDMS system till it is getting closed. Depending upon the final position of that particular Open item, Open item call will be sent to the Margin Customer. This GDMS System is having the front end called CView. This CView runs on Visual Basic with Oracle as database. On the Start of each day, GDMS files are transferred to Unix environment from where it is loaded to Oracle Tables. All transactions done for the day would be available in Oracle Tables. It is unloaded to a file and this file is again transferred to Mainframe for Batch processing.
