ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Robot Control Center, (Spring 2018) – Embedded Real Time Systems

Microcontroller board which uses ARM Cortex-M3 CPU acts as a Robot Manager. Certain Commands are sent to the Robot Manager which decodes and sends instructions to the Robots on the Factory Floor.

Includes Low Level Serial IO drivers which are implemented using Double Buffered Input IO technique.

UART is used for communication between the Robot Manager and the PC.

Technical Skills used: µCOS-III, IAR Embedded Workbench, C.

Embedded Systems

Designed light intensity sensor using PIC microcontroller (PIC16F18857)

Implemented communication between Intel Galileo Gen 2 board and PIC microcontroller with Linux on Galileo board.

Made I2C to read temperature from temperature sensor TMP102 through I2C bus protocol and coded in such a way that picture is taken by webcam when temperature is varied on temperature sensor.

Designed a multi-threaded program that allows the sensor to communicate data of temperature sensor, image file from web cam to the web server.

Capstone Project

Designed multi-sensory room which gives six different audio output through speakers and video output through projector and colored LED’s for six buttons.

Used Raspberry pi 3 to process the input and output through hdmi slot and audio jack using Python language.

Op-Amp Design Contest - Analog Devices and Techniques

Designed, built and soldered an Operational Amplifier with Voltage Gain 609K, Offset Voltage 507µV, Input resistance 355 kΩ, Offset Current 3nA, Bias Currents 138nA and 141nA.

Simulated a sample Operational Amplifier, Differential Amplifier in Pspice and acquired their specifications.
