Mainly focused on testing, implementation, and optimization of the newly deployed and existing cellular communication network. Possess excellent interpersonal, cross-functional, organizational abilities along with a wide range of analytical skills. EDUCATION

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering May 2018 University of South Florida (USF), Tampa, FL Overall GPA: 3.20/4.00 Key Specialized Courses: 5G and Beyond in Wireless Communication, Mobile and Personal Communication, Wireless Network Architecture & Protocols, Wireless Circuits, and Systems Laboratory, RF & Microwave Circuits I, Broadband Communication System. Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering December 2013 North South University (NSU), Dhaka, Bangladesh Overall GPA: 3.13/4.00 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

RF Field Engineer, NetScout Systems, Berkeley, California September 2018 – December 2018

• Lead a drive-test team on designated sites for collecting 5G CW (continuous wave) path-loss data for developing propagation model, which ultimately helps us to estimate radio coverage area, a network design parameter, link performance etc.

• Work with the client, Verizon Wireless and AT&T, for testing and observing the cellular coverage for 5G small cell and 5G cell between two millimeter-wave frequency bands at the site locations across the country before launching commercial 5G at those locations.

• Work with the Cellular Carriers, Cell Technicians, Lead Engineers, and Real State Managers for obtaining timely access to cell sites and troubleshoot any issues related to the testing equipment and procedures.

• Lead an RF testing team in the field for collecting CW path-loss data in 3.5 GHz and 5 GHz spectrum band for Verizon Wireless and this mid-band frequency spectrum is vital for expanding Wi-Fi services as 5G.

• Export the data from ‘SeeHawk Scanning’ software and process/map those data by using post-processing tools.

• Use Applanix POS LV technology for the test drive and install this equipment as well as calibrate it for testing, which ultimately helps our team to gather spatial data captured from a moving platform even through GNSS outages.

• Compare the processed data between 3.6 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency spectrum bands with different threshold parameters for different morphologies (e.g. Semi-urban Area, Urban Area, Dense-urban Area) across the country.

• Co-ordinate with Lead Engineers and Quality Assurance Team to ensure effective testing procedure, test schedule with clients as well as confirm that the test kits used are working accurately with proper calibration.

• Accumulate all the related documents, including the site testing reports, and ensure submission to the central system of the company on time.

Optimization Engineer, RNO Department, Next Generation Technologies, Bangladesh September 2015 – July 2016

• Analyzed and compared radio KPI data (network level/RNC level/cell level) and took actions accordingly for improvement.

• Co-ordinated with other teams to reduce ‘Call Drop’ incidents in a 3G network, decreasing call drops by 2% – 10% at RNC level.

• Proposed solutions for improving overall 3G/2G radio network coverage, quality, data rates at surrounding railway tracks nationwide, which led to 24% and 30% increases in 3G and 2G radio network coverage, about 8% decrease in call drops along with the reduction in site blockage issues during 2nd phase network roll-out project.

• Identified worst performing 3G and 2G cells and initiated logical and physical parameters change to improve those.

• Cluster-wise/cell-wise parameter (Both Physical & Logical) tuning to improve KPIs based on drive test & statistics report.

• Assessed network capacity utilization & load management for various marketing or country events, including cricket matches. Telecom Engineer, Planning Department, Robi Axiata Limited, Bangladesh September 2014 – August 2015

• Initiated an effective procedure of solving 3G network-related customer complaints which improved weekly resolution rate by approximately 35%, while ensured customer satisfaction and performed necessary network quality enhancement activities.

• Restored improved-network coverage and quality by deploying indoor solutions (e.g. IBS, Repeater) and optimizing existing 2G/3G sites of mobile network at 500+ head offices, regional branches, and showrooms nationwide of corporate clients.

• Coordinated with vendors (e.g. Ericsson, Huawei etc.) and collected ‘SSV (Single Site Verification) Report’, ‘Cluster Report’, and ‘Single Site Functionality Check Test Report’ of various sites in an approved format within project timeline.

• Analyzed benchmarking report of the mobile network for three major cities and proposed action plans which improved data speed (20%) & network capacity (30%) of existing 3G sites for ensuring good ‘Quality of Experience’ at the customer level. 2

• Checked alarm and analyzed alarm of 3G sites. Sent TT’s (Trouble Ticket) to the operational team for rectification. Intern, Planning Department, Robi Axiata Limited, Bangladesh April 2014 – August 2014

• Collaborated with Drive Test and Regional Operation teams regularly for smooth execution of optimization activities which steadily reduced network-performance related complaints by 15% each month and reinforced SLA (Service-Level Agreement).

• Analyzed log files of drive test by TEMS Investigation and SwissQual and explained recommendations for further actions.

• Have knowledge how to use ‘WinFIOL’ for extracting information about the history and live alarm of Node B as well as to know license capacity of EUL user/HSDPA user for any site and so on. TECHNICAL SKILLS
