As my resume indicates, I possess more than 20 years of progressive experience in the Healthcare Administration field. I began my journey in the filed as a claims examiner at the onset of managed healthcare where I continued to grow in knowledge and experience. My professional history includes positions such as a Fraud, Waste and Abuse Analyst, Claims Auditor and Business Analyst. In two separate jobs, I have participated on the BHA (Behavioral Health Administration) Compliance Committee to identify potential fraud, waste and abuse, to make recommendations and to establish course of action for providers who were not in compliance with State regulations. I have been involved in creating and revising the Medicaid Manual in relation to mental health managed care.

Most recently I have worked as a Project manager to work with the IT Programmers to develop a database to track individuals with mental health disorders and developmental/intellectual disabilities who are court-involved. I also function as help desk support and am the first point of contact to resolve any issues related to that database. I have created Business Vision Documents, Business Requirements Documents and Functional Requirements. I provided all End User training, and developed all training material.

In addition to my role as a Pproject Manager, I also function as staff consultant for community driven mental healthcare, it was my responsibility to review business plan requirements for new program applicants, monitor non complaint provider activity, create and maintain a tracking log for clinical directors in mental health clinics and perform non clinical audits on appeals

Additionally, I have completed a CPC Certification Program and plan to take the exam in the new year.
