WORK EXPERIENCE

Senior Operator

Water Quality Specialists - Escondido, CA - June 2015 to Present

Lead operator four plants in Malibu and one in Death Valley. Supervise two operators/maintenance men for these plants. Make all operational changes, maintain the plants, take samples. Meet with plant Owners and Regional Board for compliance issues. Work with the Owners for any improvements required. Supervise capital improvement projects.

Replacement operator for operators gone on leave at Olivenhain municipal water district a 35 MGD saturated membrane plant .

Duties included operate three plate settlers operate centrifuge jar testing lab work and plant rounds

West Basin Municipal Water District – Los Angeles, CA – February 2015 to May 2015

Worked at the District’s 60 MGD water reclamation plant. Secondary effluent was received from Hyperion. Treatment includes microfiltration, reverse osmosis, ozone and UV with hydrogen peroxide addition. Water is used for barrier water for sea water intrusion into the water table. Served as a relief operator for an operator on extended sick leave. Took samples, adjusted chemical dosage, assisted in membrane cleanings, operated the gravity thickener. Worked with maintenance crew for UV cleanings.

City of Tyler - Tyler, TX - December 2007 to July 2014

Operates, maintains, monitors, controls and repairs water and wastewater reclamation facility equipment including pumps, motors, blowers, chemical feeds, sludge equipment and basic laboratory instruments to ensure treated water meets Company, state and EPA standards.

•Obtains samples and performs laboratory analysis to determine proper process and operational controls.
