Complete incision and drainage of abscesses, suturing of lacerations/wounds, and splinting/casting of extremities.

Perform testicular exams, gynecological exams, and obtain samples during pap smears.

Prescribe medications for provider to sign off on.

Assess patients after surgery during follow up appointments.

Examine and treat a diverse case load of patients with diagnosis including diabetes mellitus, hypertension, COPD,

sarcoidosis, pulmonary infections, genitourinary infections, anemia, electrolyte imbalances, various mental disorders/conditions, CHF exacerbations, STIs, rheumatoid arthritis, necrotizing fasciitis, and osteoarthritis.

Discuss important topics with patients such as: contraception, family planning, healthy lifestyles, and end of life options.

Dictate Admission orders, History and Physicals, Discharge Summaries and Transfer Summaries

Consent and consult patients for surgery and explain potential risks for procedures

Autoclave instruments and interpret in-house strep and urine cultures
