ING Surround Replacement (Bangalore-India) Nov 2002-May 2004

Java Developer

ING provides online services to its customers via ING Access web application, where participants are able to view their Account details and perform transactions on internet. The customer data to display on ING Access is stored on different servers depending on the products.

ING Access retrieves data to display via system called ‘Surround’. Currently, Surround retrieves data from respective servers when requested from ING Access and sends it back to ING Access. There are few other applications that require same or more data from Surround. Surround does not integrate data needs of all the systems and it utilizes old (outdated) technology.
