Reduced labor force in appeals department by 50%. Reduced some 40 people from the daily operation by creating work teams, having people work from specific number ranges and not batching, and utilizing technology to create more of a one piece flow in the production process.

High-volume production environment utilizing a Lean mentality to drive the decision making process.

Manage the Unemployment Tax receipts in excess of $1.8 billion dollars per year by processing and depositing into the state trust fund.
Responsible for the scanning of all incoming checks from employer’s, preparation of daily bank drops and processing of receipts and bank records and reconciliations of daily deposits made to the bank.
Validate and enter wage detail information metadata for all 220,000 State of Ohio employers.

Managed a logistical, inventory, purchasing, and salvage operation while ensuring that all computer hardware and peripherals ordered were distributed to the state and county employees of ODJFS.
Handle all dispatching, Inventory Control and facility issues for the operation. Handle Human Resource functions and employee scheduling and discipline.
Territory consists of the contiguous 88 counties within the state and its 450+ sites. Prepare the yearly budget and negotiate the budgetary limits with the legislature.
